Fairly tall flowering plant that produces umbels of white flowers. This plant tolerates both cold and hot environments and can be found quite commonly throughout the Americas. The long blooming period makes this a great plant to fill in the flowerbed in the warm season. Used historically to treat burns, and soreness as well as other ailments.

Start Wild quinine outdoors in early spring, after the threat of frost has passed, or in a sunny location indoors several weeks earlier. Lightly cover seeds with soil and keep seeds moist until germination, established plants will require less water. If starting indoors, acclimate seedlings to the full sun when going to relocate to an outdoor location.
